Welcome to The Digital Shop documentation
The Digital Shop is a shopping system used to sell digital goods or downloads using paypal. It eliminates the need to use a 3rd party system like Payloadz for selling files. The Digital Shop is a complete e-Commerce system which is perfect for selling things like themes, templates, scripts, e-books, mp3s, images, videos and more. It is easy to customize with the use of the smarty template engine, allowing you to keep any customizations when upgrading or reinstalling. The Digital Shop can be used as a stand-alone site (with complete user registration/management features) or as a module in a php-nuke site.
In "Single Item Mode", multiple users can sell products in the shop and get paid directly for each purchase. This is great when users will normally be buying one item at a time also. There is also a "Shopping Cart Mode" for a single shop owner situation or where it is common for multiple items to be purchased together(like music). It is a fully integrated cart that is passed to paypal for processing.

- Each shop item can have an unlimited number of files attached.
- Each shop item can have an umlimited number of images attached.
- Any item can optionally be a free download. Free downloads can be restricted to registered users only and also employs a captcha system.
- Unlimited categories and sub-categories
- Advanced thumbnail options to keep image sizes consistent.
- Item Specials allow you to offer discounts on any item.
- Item agreement terms can be added so the user will have to agree to your terms before making a purchase.
- Coupon Codes allow discounts to be offered which can be set as a fixed rate or percentage.
- Coupon Codes can be limited by # of uses and/or time period.
- Coupon Codes can be restricted to selected items or allowed for any item.
- Advanced Downloads Permissions enables you to restrict each file to only allow customers a certain number of downloads or a certain amount of time or both.
- Customer purchase page allows easy access for users to download their file(s) and see previous purchases.
- Complete rating and review system allows users to give feedback on your products.
- Web Based install/upgrade makes the shop easy to install and maintain, and can help you install ioncube loaders.
- Find as you type user and item search in some admin areas.
- Export transactions to .csv file for use in excel or other spreadsheet programs. Transactions can be individually selected or selected by a date range.
- Innovative upload feature for item files and images allows files to upload in the background(Similar to the way GMail attachments are uploaded)
- Drag and drop ordering for files and images lets you decide how the files and images are displayed.
- Approve Purchase mode allows you to manually approve each purchase to prevent fraud.
